How are regular fares calculated?

 

Regular Fares are calculated TIME PLUS MILEAGE, up to five miles. Pick-ups that are five miles away (up to 14 miles) are calculated by adding the TIME/ MILEAGE plus miles coming to the pickup location. 

​

All Pick-ups that are 15 miles or more from the starting location of the driver: TIME PLUS MILEAGE GOING to the pickup are added to the TIME PLUS MILEAGE GOING to the requested drop-off.

A Flat Rate Fare will be the charge for the sum total of the original fare amount. If you are interested in a Fare Quote, please text your pick-up/drop-off address to 256-694-3041.

Pick-ups from locations one hour or more away from the driver: Fare charge will be TIME PLUS MILEAGE GOING to the Pickup plus TIME PLUS MILEAGE GOING to the DROP-OFF. 

 

SPECIAL EVENT ROUNDTRIP PICK-UP & DROP-OFF ARE AVAILABLE: WAIT-TIME PER HOUR FEE OF $25.00 TO RESERVE A RETURN PICK-UP. 

 

NON EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTION: "DEAD HEAD MILES," (TIME PLUS MILEAGE GOING) & TIME PLUS MILEAGE RETURNING TO THE BASE LOCATION OR CITY IS INCLUDED IN THE TOTAL COST. FROM THE INITIAL PICK-UP ADDRESS PLUS THE TIME/MILEAGE GOING TO THE DESIRED DESTINATION, ARE THE SUBTOTAL FARE THAT DOESN'T INCLUDE WAIT-TIME TIME.

 

LOCAL RUNS

NON- MEDICAL RUNS THAT ARE BELOW ONE HOUR WAIT-TIME: FEE IS ACCESSED FOLLOWING THE DROP-OFF. 

 

TRIPS OVER AN HOUR: THE FIRST HOUR OF wait-Time is included in the Fare. After the first hour, the WAIT-TIME FEE starts.
